Vic Peterkin has been in the building trade for 40 years, starting as an apprentice plasterer at the age of 16, and starting his own company at the age of 19. By his late twenties he was partner in a successful building company building new homes throughout Aberdeenshire. When Vic’s business partner finally wanted to retire, Vic took the plunge to start Peterkin Homes in 1997.
Alongside being a master builder, Vic has also been a highly successful breeder and producer of pure bred Clydesdale horses for over 20 years at his farm near Stonehaven. These magnificent horses embody the qualities of beauty, willingness, hard work and calmness, and we feel these qualities also reflect our brand. Peterkin Homes is based in the farming heartland of the Mearns, and our reputation means everything to us. We aim to work with our customers to create their dream home, in the same calm, willing and hard working way that these beautiful animals have done for many hundreds of years.
