Established as a limited company in 1997, Peterkin Homes is founded on Vic Peterkin’s 30-year experience in the building industry here in the North East of Scotland.
Our tradesmen come from our primary area of South Aberdeenshire, and many have worked along side us since the start ensuring a confidence that the quality of their workmanship is hard to be beaten. We work closely with local architects and suppliers to make certain that each home reflects the wishes of our clients.
The majority of our larger steading conversions have been acquired with a view to developing. However, many units are snapped up off plan allowing the client to make changes to suit their individual tastes and needs. Over the years we have been involved in many steading conversions in South Aberdeenshire. Each one is unique and has a character of its own.
In the North East we are often at the mercy of the weather, which is one of the reasons we choose to use timber frame kits for new build projects. From small cottages to large mansions this system allows us to be flexible and keep working in all weather conditions. With improvements in design and technology it is hard to tell the difference.
Not only are we confident that we can physically build your new home, but we pride ourselves in being able to assist our clients in every stage of their build, from helping to source plots, working alongside architects and other professionals to guide the project through planning & building warrant, liaising with service providers, sourcing of products and materials, co-ordinating individual trades, right through to final local authority inspections.
